Proposal to allocate additional expenditure accepted in Assembly

Agartala, March 28, 2023: In the second half of the Assembly session today, the proposal to allocate additional expenditure for the financial year 2022-23 was accepted.

Opposition leader Animesh Debbarma started the discussion by bringing a cut motion on the proposal of additional expenditure allocation.

Assembly Minister Ratanlal Nath, participating in the discussion, said that the state government will look into the issues that the members of the opposition have drawn attention to and work to build a better Tripura in the coming days.

Opposition MLA Gopal Chandra Roy, MLA Jitendra Chowdhury, MLA Nayan Sarkar, MLA Shailendra Chandra Nath discussed the proposal of additional expenditure by bringing a cut motion in the discussion. After discussion, the cut motions were voted down and the motion to allocate additional expenses was adopted.
