Agartala, November 17, 2022: A joining programme of the Indian National Congress was organized at Shanti Para area, Kamalghat under Bamutia assembly constituency on Thursday.
In this joining event, Bamutia Block Congress President Swapan Anand Das, Pradesh Youth Congress President Rakhu Das, Bamutia Block Youth Congress leader Biplab Biswas, Sujit Pal and others were present in this meeting. A total of 28 voters from 9 families left the ruling party BJP and joined Congress party.
Ahead of the upcoming 2023 Assembly Elections in state, PYC president Das said that the magic of Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman has succeeded in creating an impact among the common people in Bamutia assembly constituency along with all the Assembly Constituencies in the state. Every day people have left the ruling party BJP and main opposition party CPIM, to join in the platform of the Indian National Congress, he added.
