Rajendra Reang of INDI alliance Bloc submits nomination for East Tripura Lok Sabha seat

Agartala, 2nd April 2024:   In a significant development for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Rajendra Reang, the nominee of the CPIM for the East Tripura parliamentary constituency, has officially submitted his nomination on Tuesday. Accompanied by a sizable rally in Ambassa, Dhalai district, Reang submitted the necessary nomination papers to the district magistrate’s office.

The submission ceremony was marked by the presence of political figures, including Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman, Leader of Opposition Jitendra Chaudhury, Left Front Convener Narayan Kar, MLA Birajit Sinha, and other workers from the CPIM-Congress alliance.

During the rally, Rajendra Reang, the nominated candidate for the East Tripura parliamentary constituency, addressed the gathered crowd. He emphasized the crucial role of the upcoming elections in safeguarding the constitution and preserving India’s secular fabric. Reang underscored the significance of active participation in ensuring the country’s democratic principles and values.

The submission of Reang’s nomination sets the stage for a highly anticipated electoral contest in the East Tripura parliamentary constituency, with various parties gearing up for an intense campaign leading up to the polling day.
