Agartala, August 18: BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee has announced the Election team that will represent the Bharatiya Janata Party in the upcoming by-election in two assembly constituencies- 20-Boxanagar and 23-Dhanpur under Sonamura sub-division.
In a notification, Bhattacharjee informed that the Assembly Election Team of 20-Boxanagar will have cabinet ministers Pranajit Singha Roy, Sushanta Chowdhury and Tinku Roy, MP Rebati Tripura and party’s state general secretary Papia Datta.
The Assembly Election Team of 23-Dhanpur will have cabinet ministers Ratan Lal Nath, Bikash Debbarma and Sudhangshu Das, union minister of state Pratima Bhoumik, MP Rebati Tripura and party’s state general secretary Amit Rakshit.
Meanwhile, party sources said that the star campaigners list has been sent to the Central election committee for approval. It is expected that the list will be approved with changes in a day or two.
