Agartala, August 11, 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for a grand display of national pride from August 13 to 15 in commemoration of Independence Day has set the stage for an inspiring patriotic spectacle. In line with this initiative, a dedicated stall for the sale of national flags was inaugurated in front of the Tripura Pradesh BJP office.

BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee inaugurated the stall on a Friday afternoon, marking the beginning of this symbolic gesture. Joining him were BJP state general secretary Papia Datta and Assembly’s Chief Whip Kalyani Roy, among other dignitaries.

Highlighting the expansion of this patriotic endeavor, the Bhattacharjee announced plans to establish similar flag sale counters across district-mandal offices of the party. The initiative has garnered significant enthusiasm among party members, supporters, and citizens alike, who actively participated in the inaugural ceremony.

As the nation gears up to celebrate its hard-fought freedom, this endeavor serves as a potent reminder of the shared values and unity that underpin India’s identity. The fervent display of the national flag across all corners of the state stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of patriotism and unity as the country approaches its Independence Day festivities.
