Agartala, October 29, 2022: Jail minister Ramprasad Pal on Saturday visited the under-construction District Correctional Centre at Jarultali in Unakoti district. During the visit, the Jail minister gave necessary suggestions to the concerned agencies for the construction of the District Correctional Facility.
Before visiting the under-construction District Correctional Facility, the Minister of Jail inaugurated the kitchen and dining hall of the District Correctional Facility in Kailashahar. It is to be noted that the kitchen and dining hall of the district correctional centre have been renovated and built in a new form from the office done in the good governance campaign.
Opening the doors of the kitchen and dining hall of the district correctional facility, the prison minister said that various programs have been undertaken to create a healthy environment for those who live in the correctional facility. The present government of the state is working for the welfare of the people of all sections.
It should be noted that Rs 14 lakh 70 thousand taka has been spent on the construction of this kitchen and dining hall in the district jail. On this occasion, the 25 people including staff of the District Correctional Centre donated blood.
Sabhadipati of Unakoti Zilla Parishad Amalendu Das, Saha-Sabhadipati Shyamal Das, IG Prison Aditi Majumdar, Additional District Magistrate of Unakoti district Satyabrata Nath and others were present in the event.
