‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ celebrated with Run for Unity at Udaipur

Agartala, 26th October 2024:  Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ with the slogan “Run for Unity” is being celebrated with great dignity across India including in Tripura. As part of this initiative, Gomati District Police organized a marathon rally in Udaipur on Saturday.

The rally traversed various routes in Udaipur city concluding at the KBI Maidan. A total of 200 participants including police, TSR and BSF members took part in the event. The marathon was held in view of ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31. Patel is revered for his dedication to national unity, solidarity, and sovereignty.

Gomati District Superintendent of Police Namit Pathak, Additional Superintendent of Police Souvik Dey, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Ajay Debbarma and other police officers were present at the rally.

“Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel did a great job for India,” said Pathak. “The Gomti District Police organized this marathon to raise awareness about national integrity, the pledge of national unity, and the contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He was the original Kandari of an integral and continuous India,” he added.
