Agartala, 23rd April 2024:   In a spirited display of support, the BJP Mandal Committee orchestrated a grand rally on Tuesday, drawing fervent backers from every corner of the Khowai assembly constituency. The rally, a culmination of weeks of campaigning, saw enthusiastic workers and supporters converging in front of the Mandal office, adorned in festive attire.

Led by Power Minister Ratanlal Nath, along with BJP Khowai Mandal President Subrata Majumder and Khowai Mandal General Secretary Tapas Kanti Das, the procession commenced from the Mandal office. The route wound through various locales including the Khowai Kohinoor Complex, Hospital Chowmuhani, Lalchara, Puran Bazar, and Durganagar, showcasing the party’s widespread support.

Addressing the gathered crowd and media representatives, Minister Ratan Lal Nath exuded confidence in the BJP’s prospects, declaring, “Ghati Bati has crossed the Ganges with one slap.” He emphasized the seemingly insurmountable lead of the BJP and predicted a political scenario dominated by the party for the foreseeable future. Minister Nath also underscored the importance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in national development efforts, highlighting a purported tripartite agreement orchestrated by Pradyot Kishore Debbarman.

With just days remaining until the ballots are cast, the political arena in East Tripura remains charged with anticipation, as candidates and parties make their final appeals to voters.
