Agartala, August 10, 2023: Minister Ratan Lal Nath, overseeing Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Power, embarked on a vital tour of North Tripura and Unakoti district with Minister Sudhangshu Das. The journey commenced on Thursday, focusing on fostering agricultural development and robust power services.
Minister Nath led discussions with Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare department officials at strategic locations including Kumarghat, Fatikroy, and Dharmanagar. These dialogues centered on agricultural machinery distribution and field inspections. The duo also met with Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited representatives to ensure uninterrupted power supply.
Nath reaffirmed the government’s commitment to agricultural growth and farmer welfare, underlining their dedication to consistent power provision. Discussions with corporation officials addressed power challenges, ensuring service stability even during monsoons.
Engaging with farmers at Nazrul Kalakshetra in Fatikroy and Dharmanagar, Minister Nath distributed essential equipment like power tillers, rice cutting, planting, and threshing machines. These contributions uplifted farmer spirits and productivity.
Participating in paddy planting programs across districts, Nath witnessed the dedication of farmers firsthand, conveying his wishes for their prosperity and well-being.
Convening at Dharmanagar’s Circuit House, Minister Nath discussed power services with Tripura State Electricity Corporation Limited officials, emphasizing reliable service in North Tripura district.
