Rath Yatra festival: Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math distributes sweets among patients of ABVRCC in city

Agartala, 10th July 2024:   The Rath Yatra festival, a celebration steeped in religious fervor took place magnificently at the Jagannath Jew Temple in Agartala. Dedicated devotees gathered in large numbers to participate in the festivities, marking a day of spiritual renewal and community bonding.

As part of the festivities, a heartwarming gesture took place at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Centre here where fruits and sweets were distributed among patients. This compassionate act not only enriched the religious celebrations but also brought smiles to the faces of those undergoing treatment and their families.

Expressing joy and gratitude for the combined religious and social event, patients and their families appreciated the thoughtful initiative. The event was graced by the presence of prominent spiritual leaders including Srimad Bhakti Bichar Vishnu Maharaj, the current Principal of Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math, and Srimad Bhakti Kamal Vaishnava Maharaj, the esteemed guardian of Agartala Sri Chaitanya Gaudiya Math. Also in attendance were Bhakti Vikas Sramana Maharaj, co-director of Agartala Math, and other revered saints.

The Rath Yatra festival not only reinforced spiritual values but also exemplified the spirit of compassion and community solidarity.
