Agartala: June 13. Bike rider killed while many others were injured after the bike and a Eco car had an head on collision. The incident took place on Tuesday around six in the evening at Radhanagar No. 2 Tila area of Rajnagar Block.
At present, the injured are undergoing treatment at Rajnagar Primary Health Centre. The name of the deceased bike rider is Biswajit Dey (28), a resident of Bhabanipur area. It is known that Biswajit was riding a Pulsar bike numbered TR07F 8111 on the way from Radhanagar to Bhabanipur, and collided head-on with a Maruti Eco car numbered TR03M0523 coming from the opposite direction. Biswajit died on the spot due to this collision.
On the other hand, several people including the driver of the Eco car were injured. The dead and injured were brought to Rajnagar primary health center from the spot. The doctor on duty declared Biswajit Dey as dead after examining him. The deceased Biswajit Dey was sent to Niharnagar Primary Health Center for post-mortem. The autopsy will be done tomorrow. The incident cast a shadow of grief over the Radhanagar area.
