Sales representatives hold procession, demand pension hike and lower medicine prices

Agartala, January 07: The Professional Sales Representative Union of North Eastern region held a procession in Agartala on Sunday, the second day of their two-day conference. The union demanded that the pension of the workers included in EDF should be at least Rs 3,000 and the price of life-saving medicines should be reduced in public interest.

The procession started from the Student Health Home on Jagannathbari Road and passed through various streets of the capital. Members of the union from different states of the region took part in the procession. On the first day of the conference, the union had organized a blood donation camp, where 42 members donated blood voluntarily.

The conference concluded with the formation of a new committee of the union for the next two years. The union represents the sales representatives of various pharmaceutical companies in the North Eastern region.
