Santirbazar SDM Abhedananda Baidya chairs meeting ahead of Pilak ancient tourism festival in January

Agartala, December 11: In anticipation of the upcoming Pilak Ancient Tourism Festival scheduled for January 9th, 10th, and 11th next year in the picturesque Pilak area of Jolaibari under Santirbazar subdivision, a crucial discussion meeting was convened under the guidance of the Santirbazar Sub-Divisional Magistrate.

The planning session, initiated by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Santirbazar, brought together officials from various departments at Pilak Class XII School. The meeting aimed to strategize and organize the three-day-long Pilak Ancient Tourism Festival, addressing logistical aspects and ensuring a successful event.

Santirbazar SDM Abhedananda Baidya, Dakshin Tripura Zilla Parishad Saha-Sabhadipati Bibhishan Chandra Das, Jolaibari Block Panchayat Samiti Chairman Rabi Nama, Vice-Chairman Tapas Datta, and social worker Ajay Reang were among the dignitaries present at the discussion meeting. Sub-Divisional Magistrate Abhedananda Baidya expressed satisfaction with the fruitful outcome of the meeting.

During the session, SDM Baidya shared insights with the press, discussing various topics related to the Pilak Ancient Tourism Festival. The meeting served as a platform to outline plans and preparations, ensuring that the festival becomes a memorable cultural and tourism event for the region.
