Agartala: November 17. The 17th Regional Saras Mela will be held from November 18 i.e from tomorrow at the International Fair Grounds in Hapania. Final preparations are already underway. Stalls are being arranged in the fair premises. Government Art College has been tasked to highlight the theme of women empowerment at the 17th Regional Saras Mela.
Accordingly, the students of Art College are working tirelessly to highlight the issue of women empowerment in the fair. Under the leadership of Professor Mrinmoy Debbarma of Government Art College, 20 students of Art College are working at the fair. It is to be noted that the Chief Minister of the state Dr. Manik Saha, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma and others will officially inaugurate the 17th Regional Saras Mela on November 18 at 3 pm. This fair started from Friday and will continue till November 30.
