SBAA in collaboration with TVDA & GAW reaches 3000 families in four days with relief packets at Udaipur

Agartala, 27th August 2024:  Shishu Bihar Alumni Association (SBAA) sets example by treating flood effected cattle’s by arranging health camps on Monday at different places of Udaipur in collaboration with Tripura Veterinary Doctors Association (TVDA) and Gomati Animal Welfare (GAW). On that day camps were organized in three different places.

From Agartala 25 veterinary doctors went to Gomati district and from there 6 more doctors joined them. They started health camp first in Maharani H.S. School where they treated more than 150 cattle’s. After that they went to Udaipur Railway Station where they have treated approx. 300 cattle’s along with a huge number of ducks and hens.

Director of ARDD department Dr. Niraj Kumar Chanchal was present there who encouraged the 3 organizations to organize such health camps for animals those also get affected in flood badly along with human beings.

During these camps on behalf of Tripura veterinary doctor’s association General Secretary Dr. Sujit Saha, Joint Secretary Dr. Anupam Datta, Secretary Dr. Pritam Sarkar were present there. From SBAA General Secretary Abhijit Samajpati, Advisory Committee member Bhargab Bhattacharya was there. From GAW Director Billo Debbarma, Jayanta Datta and his team was there. During the health camps a large number of different veterinary medical companies provided free of cost medicine samples, which played a vital role in the grand success of the camps. The last camp was organized in Ramesh HS School of Udaipur and there also a huge number of cows, goat etc. were treated.  

Apart from this SBAA also arranged for relief material distribution to the flood affected families. Today Joint secretary Arghya Bhattacharya with other team members visited various camps of Belonia and supplied food packets to the relief camps. Earlier also they have done such philanthropic work in West Tripura and Gomati district. In total they helped approximately 3000+ flood affected families of the state.
