Agartala, 23rd March 2025: School of Science, the state’s leading Coaching Institute for Competitive and various Joint Entrance Examinations is going to offer free coaching to the students of Tripura for Medical and Engineering Entrance Exam under “Medha Scheme (Talent Scheme)”.
This was declared by the Principal of School of Science (SoS) Abhijit Bhattacharjee on March 22 at a press conference held at the conference hall of the institute.
Speaking to media personnel here, Principal Bhattacharjee stated that the institute has decided to impart free coaching for NEET, JEE (Main + Advanced), TBJEE to students of Tripura who have appeared their Board Exam this year with science stream & also Repeaters.
The institute will also offer above free coaching for the year 2026 and 2027 for the students who are presently studying in Class XII & those who have appeared their Class X Board Examination this year.
The Classroom Lectures and Mock Exams in School of Science for NEET and JEE 2025 Entrance Exam will commence from 27th March this year and continue up to 2nd May, 2025. A total of five full-length Mock Examination will be held every Monday from 2 pm to 5 pm.
However, the free coaching classes of Medical and Engineering Entrance Exam 2026 and 2027 will commence from 2nd of April this year and continue for six months.
The institute has also decided to impart free coaching to Class IX & X students from 1st April and finish their Syllabus within six months. This coaching will also include the Foundation Courses for different Entrance Examination.
To ensure maximum participation of students of Tripura who could avail the above courses there is also provision of Live and recorded online classes in this ‘Medha Scheme’. The students will also be able to join the learning App of School of Science to get all the facilities provided by the institute for online classes.
The institute has decided not to conduct any screening test for the admission process for the above free coaching but to follow the rule of “First Come First Serve” policy for a minimum of hundred students for each year. Among the students enrolled for each year, 50% students will be included from the General Category, 20% from ST Category, 20% from SC Category, 5% from Minority Category and 5% from BPL Category.
It has to be mentioned here that for each year a total of hundred students would be given the opportunity for free coaching in their respective discipline.
All the interested students from different parts of Tripura can collect the application from the office of School of Science from 23rd March (11.00 am to 7.00 pm) onwards and must submit the filled-up application form before 30th of March, 2025 along with two recent coloured passport size photographs, Photocopy of School ID Card & Progress Report of last Examination.
It has to be stated here that more than Four hundred Seventy-two students of School of Science have cracked Medical Entrance Examination including JIPMER in the past years and about Four hundred Sixty-five students have cracked different Engineering Entrance Examination including JEE (Advanced) for IIT’s.
