Security measures beefed up ahead of Assembly session in Tripura

Agartala: September 08. Tight security arrangements were made in view of the upcoming Assembly sessions that will begin from September 23. Some security measures have been taken by the state assembly to ensure the smooth completion of the assembly session.

This includes that no vehicle other than manned rickshaws or any person can enter the Assembly premises without a valid permit issued by the Assembly Secretariat. Members of the State Assembly, members of the media and staff of the Assembly will be required to show a valid permit by the security guards while entering the premises of the Assembly Secretariat. Members of the State Assembly, members of the media and staff of the Assembly may enter the premises of the Assembly in motor vehicles or other vehicles with passes. But no one else can be in this vehicle. No visitors, government officials, media representatives and Assembly staff are allowed to enter with bags, any other objectionable items.
