Agartala, 28th March 2026: Agartala’s IGM Hospital has come under sharp scrutiny after allegations surfaced against one of its doctors for serious misconduct. According to complaints, the doctor allegedly ordered a patient to be pushed out of the hospital premises, triggering widespread outrage.
Family members of the patient claimed the doctor has a history of rude and discourteous behavior towards patients. They further alleged that hospital services are being run in a disorderly manner, with the doctor reportedly ignoring government protocols and operating according to his own discretion.
The matter reached the media today, but when journalists arrived at the hospital to investigate, they faced obstruction. Security guards allegedly prevented reporters from taking photographs, stating they were acting on the doctor’s instructions. The incident led to heightened tension within the hospital compound.
As of now, neither the accused doctor nor the hospital authorities have issued any official response regarding the allegations. The controversy continues to stir public concern over accountability and patient rights in government healthcare facilities.
