Agartala, 1st January 2023: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha stated today that serving people is the way to serve God, and the present state government is dedicated to the welfare of its citizens by fostering an atmosphere of peace.
The Chief Minister made these remarks while participating in the Kalpataru festival at the community hall attached to Arundhatinagar 12th standard school.
He emphasized, “The path shown by Ramakrishna Paramhansa for the welfare of the living world is still relevant today. Following Ramakrishna’s philosophy, his illustrious disciple Swami Vivekananda made India shine on the world stage. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also working towards the welfare of the country in that spirit.”
Speaking at the Kalpataru festival organized by the Ramakrishna Seva Samiti, the Chief Minister reiterated that God exists in every human being, and serving people is the way to serve God. He highlighted the state government’s efforts in creating a peaceful atmosphere for the welfare of the people.
MLA Meena Rani Sarkar, Corporator Alok Roy, Corporator Prasenjit Lodh, and others were also present on the occasion.
