Sharp rise in Covid, 214 positive cases in last 24-hours

Agartala: July 14. The Covid situation in the state has started increasing as more fresh 214 people were tested positive with the virus.In the last 24 hours, 214 people have been infected with corona virus. Currently, the number of active patients has increased by a leap to 584. However, with the increase in the number of corona sample tests, the rate of infection has also increased.

Meanwhile, only 17 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. But the most worrying thing is that the incidence of infection in West Tripura district is increasing at a rapid pace.

According to the health department’s media bulletin, 90 samples were tested by RT-PCR and 1,903 by rapid antigen in the last 24 hours. Out of that, 8 in RT-PCR and 206 in Rapid Antigen taking the number 214 people were found to be infected with Corona virus. As a result, the daily infection rate currently stands at 10.47 percent. 17 people have recovered in the last 24 hours.

Out of this, there are currently 584 active patients with Corona in Tripura. Till today around 101544 people have been infected with Corona in Tripura so far. Among them, 99971 have recovered. Currently, the positivity rate of corona in the state is 4.06 percent. Likewise, the recovery rate has dropped to 98.51 percent. Meanwhile, the death rate is 0.91 percent. Apart from this, so far 920 people have died due to corona in Tripura. Among 214 positive cases, 141 in West district, 17 Sepahijala district, 2 in Khowai district, 18 people in Gomati district, 8 people in Dhalai district, 7 in North, 10 in Unkoti and 11 in South district have been infected with corona.
