Agartala, 14th October 2025 :  The Southwest monsoon has officially withdrawn from the entire state of Tripura today, 14th October, 2025, nearly coinciding with its normal withdrawal date.

The Meteorological Centre, Agartala, issued a statement confirming the withdrawal.

Dr. Partha Roy, a senior meteorologist at the Centre, said that the state is now entering the post-monsoon period, with dry weather prevailing across Tripura.

“The Southwest monsoon has withdrawn from the entire state today. Weather conditions are expected to remain dry over the next few days,” Dr. Roy stated.

Last year, the Southwest monsoon also withdrew from Tripura on 14th October, 2024, marking a consistent pattern in the monsoon’s departure.

Over the past 24 hours, dry weather has prevailed across the state, signaling the onset of the typical post-monsoon season.
