Agartala, September 19, 2022: A special campaign of COVID booster dose has been started in West Tripura district along with the entire state. This special campaign which started today will continue till September 30 next. All 18 years and above will be given a COVID booster dose vaccination completely free of charge. At the same time, both the first dose and the second dose of COVID will be given completely free for everyone aging from 12 years and above. This vaccination will be conducted in all hospitals, sub-health centres under the office of Chief Health Officer in West Tripura district.
On the first day of this special campaign, MLA Mimi Majumdar visited the vaccination site of Ashrampara Primary Health Centre and she talked to the beneficiaries and also interacted with the health workers.Besides, MLA Krishnadhan Das visited Narsingarh Hospital himself and took the COVID booster dose and discussed various issues with every beneficiary and health workers present. He also interacted on how to make this campaign more successful in the coming days.On the first day, the presence of crowds to take booster doses was observed at various health centers in West Tripura district.
