Agartala, 10th November 2025: A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a road accident on Monday in the Durgapur area of Ward 14 under the Kailashahar Municipal Council.
Local sources informed that the high-speed motorcycle first collided with an e-rickshaw and then rammed into a four-wheeler. The impact of the crash flung the rider onto the road, leaving him critically injured.
Residents rushed to the scene and promptly transported the injured man to Unakoti District Hospital at Kailashahar for treatment. Police later arrived at the site and removed the damaged vehicles involved in the accident.
Locals have raised concerns over frequent speeding incidents on this stretch of road, blaming the lack of traffic enforcement. They are urging authorities to increase police surveillance to prevent further mishaps.
