Agartala, October 30, 2022: In a pathetic incident, husband and wife sustained grievous injuries after being hit by an ambulance on the late night of Saturday last at Chechurimai School and both were referred to GBP Hospital for better treatment.
It is reported that Mohammed Hanif and his wife Reena Begum were riding a motorcycle from his in-laws house at Chechurimai to Uttar Mura area on the late night of Saturday last. At that time, a speeding ambulance proceeding towards Agartala from Udaipur hit Hanif’s motorcycle on the road adjacent to Chechurimai School from Udaipur to Agartala.
Mohammad Hanif along with his wife Reena Begum fell on the road. Neighbors rushed to the spot hearing the loud noise and reported to the fire department. After receiving the information, the injured were rescued from the spot and shifted to the primary health center in Bishramganj. As their condition was serious, both were referred to GBP Hospital for better treatment.
