Agartala Jan 06: Alleging deprivation from regularization and other financial benefits, SSA teaching and non-teaching staffs warned to go for larger movement in near days if the state government fails to fulfil the demands at the earliest.
Friday, the teaching and non-teaching staffs under the banner of Tripura Samagra Shiksha Employees Association, Central Committee placed deputation to the state project director, Samagra Shiksha at the Shiksha Bhavan, Agartala.
The demands raised by the SSA teaching and non-teaching staffs include, Regularization of services of all teaching and non-teaching staff of Samagra Shiksha, Tripura by taking into consideration the period of contractual service, Enhancement of remuneration of all teaching and non-teaching staff in respect of non-teaching staff demand is made for revising the current pay structure as introduced according to ROP 2009, released further instalment of Dearness Allowance (DA) @ 12 % over the Basic Pay similar to all state government employees.
The agitators further demanded to relief all teaching and non-teaching staffs from election duty.
Addressing the reporters, chairman SSA Bastab Debbarma demanded the state government of fulfilment of the demands within January 10, 2023.
He added, “The teaching and non-teaching staff of Samagra Shiksha, Tripura shall be compelled under our acute deprived condition for pursuing greater movement and agitation throughout the state on non-fulfilment of the demands”.
