State Bank of India and Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura holds Health Camp

Agartala, 22nd December 2024:   The State Bank of India, in collaboration with the Hepatitis Foundation of Tripura organized a health camp at the Tripura Student Health Home on Jagannath Bari Road here. The camp was attended by eminent physician Dr. Pradip Bhaumik, who emphasized the unique nature of this health camp.

“This health camp has been organized for all the employees working in the State Bank and retired employees of the State Bank. It is not a traditional health camp,” Dr. Bhaumik stated. He highlighted that the camp not only provided health check-ups but also distributed medicines and offered various types of tests.

Dr. Bhaumik stressed the importance of regular health check-ups before falling ill. “When people get sick, they go to the hospital and receive medical services. But health check-up is very important before getting sick,” he said. He also pointed out the impact of mental stress due to work pressure, noting that staying free from mental stress can help prevent many diseases. “If people are aware about health, then the chances of getting infected with the disease will also decrease,” he added.

The health camp aimed to promote awareness and preventive healthcare among the employees and retirees of the State Bank, ensuring their well-being and reducing the risk of illness.
