Agartala, October 19, 2022: The qualified candidates of the Selection Test For Graduate Teachers on Wednesday met with the Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, who is also holds the charge of Finance Department, to seek recruitment for all the qualified candidates at one go.
Speaking to reporters here, one of the qualified candidates said “We are STGT qualified candidates of 2022 and our demand is that we want jobs at one go. Before arriving here, we have met Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath twice. He told us that he had processed the file and once it gets the approval of the Finance.”
During the meeting with the Deputy Chief Minister, the aspirants flagged their grivances related to the delay in recruitment process. Dev Varma gave a patient hearing to the aspiring teachers and told them he would certainly look after their issues. After getting assurance, the STGT qualified candidates expressed that they were satisfied with the reply of the Deputy CM.
“So we have come here and met our Deputy Chief Minister. He has said that he would look into the matter and talk to Education Minister over the issue. We are very happy over the issue”, the candidate added.
