Agartala, 16th  January 2025: In a bid to make vehicle drivers more conscious of road safety, students of Women’s College distributed awareness leaflets on the streets of Agartala today. The initiative was led by the college’s NSS unit, aimed to educate bike riders, tomtom and auto drivers about the importance of safe driving.

A student from the NSS unit highlighted the alarming rate of vehicle accidents in the state, attributing them largely to bike drivers not wearing helmets, speeding, and reckless driving. The awareness program focused on addressing these issues and promoting safer driving habits.
