Students should take leading role in formation society: EM

Agartala: December 03. Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath today said that students should take a leading role in the formation of society by being educated in quality education. “There is no substitute for education. Students should take a leading role in the formation of society by being educated in quality education.

Only then society and country will be prosperous”, said Education Minister today while inaugurating the fresher’s program at Swami Vivekand Mahavidyalaya in Mohanpur. He said that the present government of the state has given special importance to the promotion of quality education for which several steps have been taken to enable the present generation of boys and girls to study in this state and stand on their own feet.

Emphasizing on the sensitivity of the students, the Education Minister said that the country should be loved and others should be encouraged to build the country. Tripura Cricket Association Treasurer Jayalal Das also spoke on the occasion. Student Gopal Krishna Banik delivered the welcome speech. The event was presided over by the principal of the college Haradhan Saha, Mohanpur Municipal Council Anita Debnath, Vice Chairperson Shankar Deb, College Education Council Secretary Debabrata Roy and others were present on the occasion. The students of the college performed interesting cultural programs on the occasion.
