Agartala, 17th March 2025: The Iftar Mehfil organized by the Boxnagar Karmachari Sangha was a resounding success, marked by joy and unity. The event was attended by Boxanagar MLA Tafajjal Hossain, Boxanagar Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Swapna Nama and Boxnagar BDO Sanjib Kumar Pal among others.
During the gathering, MLA Hossain extended his greetings on the occasion of Ramadan, emphasizing the significance of the holy month as a period of introspection and meditation.
He remarked, “Through this Mahfil, we have come together to further strengthen Hindu-Muslim unity in Boxanagar. Our goal is to fortify the bond of friendship and harmony between people of all religions.”
The Iftar Mehfil transcended its religious essence, serving as a social platform where local guests and the general public mingled, fostering goodwill and camaraderie.
In addition to the dignitaries mentioned, the event was graced by Boxanagar Panchayat Samiti Vice-Chairperson Selina Akhtar and leaders from the Karmachari Sangha including Kamal Hossain, Bijoy Kumar Sarkar, Subir Kumar Biswas, Prashanta Sarkar and Jayanta Sarkar.
The Mehfil stood as a testament to the spirit of unity and mutual respect among the diverse communities of Boxanagar.
