Agartala, 19th January 2025: Tripura’s Fisheries and SC Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das displayed a remarkable display of humanity when he encountered an elderly man in critical condition while traveling to an official event.
The incident occurred in the Devichhara Chaumuhani area, located within the Kamalpur assembly constituency in Dhalai district. The elderly man was found lying on the roadside, visibly ill and in urgent need of medical assistance.
Upon spotting the man, Minister Das acted immediately, instructing his vehicle to halt. Without hesitation, he exited the car and evaluated the situation. Minister Das called for help from the locals, and ensured that the elderly man was promptly transported to the hospital for the necessary medical attention. Furthermore, he made sure that the man’s family was notified of his condition and coordinated with the security department to arrange additional support.
