Agartala, 12th November 2024: Animal Resource Development Department, Fisheries, and SC Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das stated today that his department is actively working to address issues and meet the targets set by the department.
Das chaired a review meeting in Ambassa, Dhalai District. Speaking to reporters, Minister Das said that he has begun district-level review meetings starting today.
“Since assuming the role of Minister for Animal Resource Development, Fisheries, and SC Welfare, I have been holding review meetings every three months. However, due to some reasons, the recent meeting was delayed. From today, I have resumed district-wise review meetings. Today, I chaired a meeting in Ambassa where I reviewed the implementation of schemes in these three departments within the district. We also assessed whether people are benefiting from the schemes and whether targets are being met. Wherever there are gaps, we will work to address them,” he added.
