Agartala, 16th December 2025: A district-level review meeting involving three key departments- Animal Resource Development, Fisheries, and Scheduled Caste Welfare was convened at the Kailashahar Circuit House under the chairmanship of Minister Sudhangshu Das.
The meeting was attended by departmental secretaries and directors, the Sabhadhipati and Saha-Sabhadhipati of the Zilla Parishad, the District Magistrate, chairpersons of municipal and panchayat bodies, along with senior officials from various departments.
Minister Das stated that the primary objective of this second-phase review meeting was to assess the budget allocations and progress of projects under the three departments for the financial year 2025–26. Detailed discussions were also held on ensuring timely completion of central government schemes and delivering their benefits to the public.
Highlighting the importance of the session, the minister noted that constructive exchanges of views with elected representatives and deliberations on ground-level challenges made the meeting particularly significant.
