Sudhangshu reviews ARD, Fisheries & SC Welfare departments’ progress in Gomati district

Agartala, July 05, 2023: Animal Resource Development, Fisheries and SC Welfare minister Sudhangshu Das on Wednesday chaired a crucial meeting with the officials of these three departments to chalk out and execute a three-month long action plan in Gomati district.

The review meeting was held at the conference hall of Gomati Zilla Parishad in Udaipur on Wednesday morning. The minister was accompanied by the MLA Rampada Jamatia, officials of these three departments.

Speaking to media personnel on the sidelines of the review meeting, Das said that the meeting has significantly focused on the present scenario of these three departments- ARD, Fisheries and SC Welfare in Gomati district.

“The position of various projects and schemes in Gomati district to be discussed elaborately by the concerned officials. The meeting will also look on the production of eggs, fish, milk and meat, and demand of these items”, he added.

Das also said that the respective departments will also discuss on introduction of innovative schemes to meet up the demand and production of necessary items.

In regard to the SC Welfare department, minister said “I will be discussing with the officials whether the people of SC community are reaping the benefits of various schemes of the state and central governments.”

Das emphasized that the three departments in Gomati district will initiate a three-mong long action plan to work out the desired targets in providing all kinds of support to the common people.

He also stated that the common people had showed confidence of BJP and voted to power for the second consecutive term. “Respecting the trust of people upon us, we have to work together for the betterment of common masses”, he also added.
