Agartala, May 03, 2023: After taking charge as the Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department, Sushanta Chowdhury on Wednesday visited North Tripura District and chaired a crucial meeting with the senior officials of the district, sub-divisions and concerned department at the conference hall of North district’s DM office in Dharmanagar.
The meeting was attended by the FCS&CA department’s Secretary Ravel Hemendra Kumar, DM of North Tripura district Nagesh Kumar B, Director of Food department Nirmal Adhikari and Joint Director Animesh Debbarma, SDMs and Deputy Collectors, etc.
In discussion with all the officials present in the review meeting, Chowdhury came to know about various issues and problems related to Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs in North Tripura district and with joint efforts of all to strengthen public distribution system in North Tripura District and overall development of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs in North Tripura District.
Food minister gave necessary suggestions to bring more dynamics in the work of concerned department and directed the secretary and director of the department to take quick steps in solving the various problems raised by the officials present in the meeting.
