Agartala, December 21, 2022: Youth Affairs and Sports minister Sushanta Chowdhury chaired an important meeting at his official chamber in the premises of Civil Secretariat here with the higher officials of the Tripura police and the respective department regarding the ‘Khelo Tripura’, ‘Susto Tripura’ initiative and visit of India’s most popular singer Sonu Nigam on December 23 next.
Taking it to social media handle, Chowdhury said that the most popular and successful Indian singer Sonu Nigam is arriving at Agartala to perform in a musical concert organized by the Youth Affairs and Sports department on December 23.
“The main objective of this program is to make the youth of the state aware of the harmful effects of drugs and keep the potential youth away from drug addiction and above all to strengthen the fight against drugs, to develop physical and mental development among the youth of the state, besides increasing interest in sports and cultural practices, and creating awareness against drug addiction”, he added.
