Agartala, August 1, 2022: Various programs have been organized to commemorate the 75th year of India’s independence in our state along with the entire country. #Harghartiranga is a part of “Azadi ka Amrita Mohotsav”. Under the central government’s “Har Ghar Teranga” campaign, the tricolor flag will be hoisted in more than 20 crore homes across the country for three days from August 13 to August 15 next month.
ICA minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Monday participated in a preparatory meeting at Agnibina Hall in Jirania for the successful implementation of “Har Ghar Triranga” program in Jirania sub-division and to celebrate the 75th Independence Day through various events.
A detailed discussion was held in the meeting with the officials of various departments and public representatives to implement this program in Jirania sub-division. Extensive campaign work has already started to make this program successful in Jirania sub-division. In this program, the national flag will be hoisted in every house from August 13 to August 15 next. Various administrative preparations have been made for this.
Our #Harghartiranga Abhiyan aims to take the spirit of patriotism to the highest level. “Har Ghar Tiranga” program will greatly contribute to inculcate a new sense of patriotism among the citizens of the country. Jirania SDM Jiban Krishna Acharya, SDPO Himadri Prasad Das, Jirania Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Manju Das, Vice-Chairperson Pritam Debnath and other honorable members, Vice-Chairperson of Ranirbazar Municipal Council Prabir Kumar Das, social worker Gauranga Bhowmik and others were present in this preparatory meeting.
