Agartala: June 05. The Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Minister, Sushanta Chowdhuy today chaired a review meeting in South district and gets to know about the various issues and problems related to department in the district.
On Facebook, Sushanta said, “Today, after taking charge as Minister of Food and Consumer Affairs Department of Tripura Government, I visited South Tripura district and there in the conference hall of Sabroom Nagar Panchayat 39-Manu Constituency. In discussion with all the public representatives and officials present in today’s review meeting, I got to know about the various issues and problems related to Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs in South Tripura district and with joint efforts of all to strengthen the public distribution system in South Tripura district and bring more dynamics to the work of the department in the entire South district for the overall development of all including consumers”.
He said that during the meeting he has given necessary suggestions and directed the higher officials of the department to take prompt action to resolve the various issues raised by the officers present at the meeting.
MLA Mylaphru Mog, 34-Rajnagar Constituency MLA Swapna Majumdar, Additional Commissioner Animesh Debbarma, District Magistrate of South Tripura District, Sub-Divisional Magistrates/Deputy Collectors of Belonia, Sabroom, Shantirbazar Sub-division under South Tripura District and other officials of various levels associated with the Food Department.
