Sushanta Chowdhury campaigns for BJP candidate Tafajjal Hussain in Boxanagar by-poll

Agartala, August 29, 2023: Food Minister Sushanta Chowdhury addressed a road-side meeting in support of BJP candidate Tafajjal Hussain at Aralia Gram Panchayat ground under 20-Boxanagar assembly constituency on Tuesday afternoon. He appealed to the party officials and people present there to vote for Hussain in the by-election and ensure his victory with a large margin.

Chowdhury said that BJP is working for all with the aim of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Biswas Aur Sabka Prayas’. He praised the vision and efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the development of North Eastern states, including Tripura. He urged the people to follow the direction of the Prime Minister and continue the welfare and progress of the state.

He also said that the by-election of Boxanagar assembly constituency, scheduled for September 5, is a vote for the stability and growth of the state. He claimed that the victory of BJP candidate Tafajjal Hussain will boost the development of the entire state, including Boxanagar. He said that this by-election is very important and will strengthen the double engine government of the state.

He appealed to the public deities of Boxanagar to bless Hussain and enable him to serve the people of Boxanagar. He dismissed the allegations of casteism by the opponents and said that the people of Boxanagar will vote for development, empowerment, youth, women and farmers.

The meeting was attended by Kalyanpur MLA Pinaki Das Chowdhury, former minister Billal Miah, who recently joined BJP, among others.
