‘Swavlamban’ through Tribal Tourism course in TU

Agartala, December 12, 2022: A team of Swadeshi Jagaran Manch (SJM) visited to Chabimura, a noted tourist spot under Gomati district. The team visited the spot on Sunday last to take a feasibility to start a new course on ‘Tribal Tourism’. This course module will be designed in a way by which the youth will become more skilled and professional and do justice with tourism industry.

The team decided to take a proper initiative for granting of the recognition of the said course from Tripura University. This course will not only be helpful for the youth to become self-reliant but also to bring out the state a tourism hub across the country.

The team members also interacted with the young force of ‘Neermahal Adventure & Mountaineering Foundation (NAMF)’ and motivated them to do their best for the development of the tourism sector in the state, as the state has a boon of natural resources.

The team led by Purvottar Sampark Pramukh of SJM comprises of Dr Deepak Sharma, Registrar, Tripura University, CA Rantan Kumar Das, Samnavayak, Swavlambi Bharat Abhiyan, Tripura Prant, Om Prakash Jha and Sudha Yadav from Tripura University and noted social activists of the state Tusar Kanti Chakraborty and Kshitij Das.

Swadeshi Jagran Mach (SJM) is dedicated to transform the mind set of the youth from job seekers to job providers. For this noble cause of the society, SJM always explores the various possible avenues for the young brigade of the county so that they could make themselves ‘Swavlambi (self-reliant)’.
