TAF holds social outreach, brings relief to families at Amarpur

Agartala, 10th January 2026:    Responding to the severe cold wave in Tripura, the Tipra Academician Forum (TAF) organized a social outreach program to aid vulnerable families in Rutukrai Para and Athambaigo Para under Amarpur R.D. Block.

TAF members distributed winter blankets, warm clothes, and educational materials to 50 economically disadvantaged households. Children received notebooks, pencils, pens, and color supplies to support their education.

The drive was led by TAF President Dr. Abhijit Debbarma, Vice President Dr. Anuradha Jamatia, General Secretary Dr. Madhusudha Murasing, and Organizing Secretary Mr. Daniel Debbarma, along with other members. Coordination at the grassroots was facilitated by the family of Mr. Shanti Bongcher, ensuring aid reached deserving beneficiaries.

Through this initiative, TAF reaffirmed its commitment to community welfare and pledged to continue similar humanitarian efforts in the future.
