Agartala, 30th April 2025: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) on Wednesday announced the results for the Secondary (Class 10) and Higher Secondary (Class 12) examinations, marking yet another milestone in the state’s academic calendar.
A total of 25,673 students cleared the Secondary examination, while 17,052 students passed in the Higher Secondary category this year. The overall pass percentage stood at 86.53% for Class 10 and 79.29% for Class 12.
Briefing the media at a press conference, TBSE President Dr. Dhananjay Gan Chowdhury revealed that 29,670 students had appeared for the Class 10 exam, including 13,861 boys and 15,809 girls from 1,057 schools. South Tripura emerged as the top-performing district at the Secondary level with a stellar pass rate of 92.69%, while Khowai trailed behind with the lowest at 78.54%.
In the Higher Secondary examination, 21,506 students appeared, comprising 9,920 boys and 11,586 girls. Sepahijala district led the state with the highest pass percentage of 87.38%, whereas Khowai once again recorded the lowest at 71.95%.
TBSE Secretary Dr. Dulal Dey provided additional details, stating that 110 out of 166 students with physical disabilities passed the Secondary examination, while 70 out of 90 cleared the Higher Secondary exam. He further informed that candidates seeking a review of their results in specific subjects can submit applications through their respective schools on May 7, 8, and 9.
