Agartala, 22nd November 2023: The Tea Board India Regional Office in Agartala has announced a three-day training program and trade fair, running from November 21 to November 23 at the Gitanjali Guest House. The event aims to bring together representatives from small and large tea plantation owners in the state.
During a press conference on the second day of the workshop, a Tea Board India official highlighted the significance of the trade fair in fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among tea industry stakeholders. The event is expected to provide a platform for participants to discuss industry trends, share insights, and explore opportunities for growth.
Key figures present at the press conference included Samir Ranjan Ghosh, Chairman of the Tripura Tea Development Corporation, and Manik Lal Das, Managing Director of Tripura Tea Corporation Limited. Tea Board India Tripura Branch Incharge Tuhin Debnath, Development Officer Moni Shankar Mallick, and Dr. Asitabh Sur from the Indian Institute of Packaging also graced the occasion.
The workshop, spanning November 21 to November 23, will feature sessions led by industry experts, addressing topics ranging from tea plantation best practices to packaging innovations.
