Agartala July 26: Time and again, reports of pathetic situation in various schools of the state under Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath has been received, especially from the schools in suburbs of the state. The most prominent problem reported among several others is acute shortage of teachers.

One such report has been received once again from Jagannathpur LLC SRB School in Kumarghat under Unakoti District. The school has been suffering from lack of educational infrastructure since its inception. The biggest problem in the school at present is teacher shortage. Because of the deplorable situation, parents do not want to admit their children in the school due to shortage of teachers.

At present, with only one teacher the teaching and learning process is going on in the school.Despite repeated demands from the parents, the education department did not do anything to resolve matter.

Moreover due to the lack of infrastructure in the school, the local residents do not admit their children anymore. Locals alleged that it is a nominal school. Only seven or eight students are studying in the school. And is a shameful example amid the government schools registered in the register of the education department. An intense anger lies among locals over the situation of the school in Kumarghat.
