Agartala, 29th February 2024 : A 19-year-old boy from North Charilam Madhyapara died on Thursday morning at GB Hospital, after being found unconscious at his neighbor’s house on Monday. The cause of death is still unknown.
The boy, identified as Nityananda Nama, had gone to visit his neighbor Zakir Hossain on Monday afternoon, but did not return home for several hours. His family members became worried and went to check on him at Hossain’s house, where they discovered him lying unconscious on a bed.
They rushed him to Bishalgarh sub-divisional hospital, where he was referred to Tripura Medical College and Dr BRAM Teaching Hospital for further treatment. He was later transferred to GB Hospital, where he succumbed to his condition on Thursday.
The police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances that led to the boy’s death. They have also questioned Hossain, who claimed that he had no idea how Nam became unconscious at his house.
