Agartala, 30th July 2024: Former Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura and the newly appointed Governor of Telangana, Jishnu Dev Varma, is set to take his oath of office on July 31st at the Raj Bhawan in Telangana. Sources indicate that Dev Varma, along with his wife, will travel to Telangana on the day of the ceremony, which is scheduled for around 3 PM.
In line with official protocol, two ADCs, including a Major from the Indian Army and an IPS officer, as well as the Joint Secretary to the Governor, arrived this evening to meet with Dev Varma. Earlier today, Varma visited the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, located in Udaipur, Gomati district, to offer prayers. He was accompanied by Finance Minister Pranajit Sinha Roy.
