Agartala, March 14: Teliamura police station staff arrested two 18-year old youths with 80 vials of brown sugar at Hawaibari Check Point.
Acting on a tip-off, Teliamura police station staff were waiting for the youths at Hawaibari Check Point. As soon as the blue-coloured TVS Apache motorcycle bearing registration number TR01W-6267 reached the check point, police nabbed them.
During search operation, police seized 80 vials of brown sugar from their possession. The youths are identified as Akash Sarkar and Rajdeep Banik, both are the resident of Teliamura sub-division. They were brought to Teliamura police station.
The menace of drug addiction cannot be stopped in any way. Its business is going on in different areas Teliamura along with the entire state.
