Agartala, 17th June 2025: The body of 24-year-old Jackson Debbarma, who had been missing for four days, was recovered near the SPO camp in Brindavanghat yesterday evening. His family alleges foul play claiming that his death was not accidental but a brutal murder.
Upon receiving the report, Khowai police swiftly arrived at the scene recovering the body at around 9:30 pm. The remains were then sent to the Khowai District Hospital morgue for an autopsy. While authorities have yet to confirm the cause of death, an investigation has been launched under a case of unnatural death.
Debbarma, a resident of West Rajnagar in Tulashikhar block was deeply mourned by his family and locality. The sudden and mysterious nature of his passing has intensified grief and speculation among locals.
Authorities stress that a conclusive determination can only be made following the autopsy results.
