Agartala, December 18, 2022: A local businessman of Kalam Khet Gram Panchayat found that his shop of grocery, tea and sweets has been ransacked at Sajal Chowmuhani area on Sunday morning.
Sources said that the group of thieves cut the tin of the fence behind the shop and stole digital weigh machine, goods, etc. worth around Rs 20 thousand.
Two ducks were stolen from shop owner Uttam Saha’s house seven days ago by a group of thieves. This shop was the only source of income. The owner of the shop, Uttam Saha, became depressed and destitute.
Meanwhile, after receiving the information about the theft, the Melaghar police station staff came and inspected his shop.
