Agartala, 30th September 2024: : In a swift investigation following a theft incident, the police from the NCC police station have successfully apprehended four individuals involved in the robbery in Khajurbagan.
The theft, which took place on September 12, was reported by Ayesha Khatun, leading to a formal complaint filed at the NCC police station. Acting on this, the police launched an investigation and arrested two suspects, Mohammad Sahraab and Rahul Goala.
During interrogation, Sahraab and Goala confessed to their involvement in the crime and revealed the identities of the individuals to whom they had sold the stolen jewelry. Based on this information, the police swiftly arrested Titu Chakraborty and Subrata Chakraborty and recovered the stolen gold ornaments from their possession.
Three of the four suspects had been in police remand for questioning, and on Monday, all four arrested individuals were presented before the court for further legal proceedings.
